L'opera

The work

Il Sogno di Marsia” is an innovative musical composition that marks a renaissance in ancient music, bringing back to life the aulos, an instrument used in Ancient Greece.

"My goal with 'Il Sogno di Marsia' was to revive a musical instrument that had not been heard for centuries. I found inspiration among the collections of the National Museum of Taranto and worked with researcher Barnaby Brown to recreate the sound of the aulos. This composition represents an encounter between the past and the present, offering a new dimension to ancient music."
